Hello. This is a fantastic recipe that I'd love to try on Sunday. Best regards, Sofia
Hi, I baked the apple cake yesterday at lunchtime and it's really super easy and quick to make. The dough is light and fluffy and the apples taste fantastic with it. Thank you so much for the recipe! Best regards, Laura
When do the apples go into the pan – before the dough or on top of the dough?
Hi Edel. First, put the dough in, then arrange the apple slices in a circle. It's best to press them in a little. Best regards, Tina-Maria
I'm eating my third piece right now :-))
The cake is incredibly fluffy.
I love SKYR, but I wanted to try baking with COCONUT MILK.
Definitely YES.
I chose the ones with the highest fat content.
Thank you Tina-Maria for the recipe.
Great that you don't like it too sweet either.
Others would have used twice the amount of Xucker. I used erythritol.
Hi Ute, I'm so glad you liked it. I deliberately used less sugar since the apples were already quite sweet. Best regards, Tina-Maria
I was just looking for a recipe to use up too much Skyr. I'm going to try this, but with the first rhubarb of the year that I harvested yesterday. Mmm, I'm really looking forward to it. Thanks for the great recipe!
Hi, I'm curious to know what you think of it. Best regards
Me too. I realized halfway through that I was out of baking powder. So, after some internet research, I replaced it with a shot of gin – so far it looks pretty good. Taste test to follow later.
Hello.
I must have done something wrong. My cake isn't fluffy at all, it's rather dense.
Hi Susi, then you probably baked it for too long. Every oven is a little different. Best regards, Tina-Maria
GOOD MORNING,
Thank you so much for the wonderful recipe. We love this light, very fluffy apple cake. Before it goes in the oven, I sprinkle a little raw cane sugar on top; I leave out the powdered sugar later. 😉
I have it in the oven right now and it smells wonderful.
Best regards
TINA
Hi Tina 😉
Using raw cane sugar sounds great too. I hope it tasted good! 🙂 Best regards, Tina-Maria
Oh my God !!!!
That treat is so yummy yummy 😍😍
I chose sugar, and it's not sweet at all. I don't know when I last ate such a delicious apple pie.
Above all, it's fluffy and not so compact 😍😍
Thank you for this delicious recipe.
Best regards
ornella
Hello Ornella, I'm so glad you enjoyed the cake! Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! Tina-Maria
I've tried your recipe twice today.
Since I was a few eggs short, I used bananas instead. I have to say, the bananas add an extra flavor ♥️ I love it!
That makes me very happy! That's also a great alternative 😉 Best regards, Tina-Mraria
It was absolutely delicious and quick to make! Thanks Mia!
